Family Based Program
Shamrock's Family Based Program provides your family with team delivered service that focuses on transferring skills to all family members. Family based therapy is a collaborative, team-delivered service that believes in working with the entire family unit in order to effect the desired changes you would like to make within your family.
Family-Based uses a Structural Family Therapy model to look at the way your family functions and how even small changes can make a big difference in the way everyone gets along.
Four main areas we look at include: Hierarchy(who has authority or power), Boundaries (how are family members able to be both individuals and part of the family in a respectful way), Rules and Roles, and Relationships.
The maximum time we work with a family is 32 weeks. This means we begin working quickly to identify the goals you would like to achieve and how we can help you get there. Prior to ending services with your family, we will help set up aftercare services designed to allow you to continue with the progress started with family-based.
The family-based service offers intense in-home treatment that works around your family's schedule. We can work with family members individually , in sub-sets, as well as with the whole family unit, depending on the needs of your family.

Assessments
Assessments are tools used by the treatment team to get a better understanding of you and your family unit. Using the information you provide us with, the treatment team will then talk with you about the results of the assessment and the information it gives us about the appropriate direction for treatment. Any/all treatment goals are developed together with you and your family.

Crisis Support
Structural Family Therapy is a very intense service, therefore we will provide you with a telephone number that you and your family can access anytime day or night during the most challenging and trying times.
