Wraparound Program (BHRS or Behavioral Health Rehabilitative Services) may include the following components:
Mobile Therapy (MT): Mobile Therapy is a psychotherapy that is provided to the child and family in the child's home, school, or community. The Mobile Therapist works closely with the family and TSS in a team effort to change problematic behaviors and transfer the necessary skills to children, families and caregivers.
Behavioral Specialist Consultant (BSC): BSC advises the treatment team on clinical approaches to use with a child with complex needs. Behavioral Health Services are recommended by an interagency team that meets to discuss a child's problems, strengths, and overall needs. The goal is to transfer the necessary skills to children, families and caregivers.
Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS): Therapeutic Staff Support work one-to-one with a child in their natural environment; within his or her home, school, or community. Services are individualized based on the needs of the particular child. TSS work from a treatment plan that has been developed with the input of parents, guardians, and other members of the child's treatment team. The goal of the service is to provide the support the child needs in order to be successful, decrease problematic behaviors, and increase a child's ability to cope effectively. These services are designed to keep the child in the least restrictive environment that will appropriately meet their needs and to transfer skills to the child, families and caregivers.
